The USPBA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded on the principles of equality, respect, and unity. It is a platform designed for LGBTQIA+ athletes and allies to challenge stereotypes, break down barriers, and inspire positive change within the broader sports community. The association aims to promote inclusivity and encourage diversity in sports by providing a safe and amicable space for all.
The USPBA will offer a range of programs and initiatives designed to promote diversity, inclusion, and social justice within basketball, including:
Competitive leagues and tournaments for LGBTQIA+ athletes and allies of all skill levels
Community outreach programs aimed at promoting equality and acceptance in local communities
